About Denise

Building Credibility

image3

As a successful entrepreneur of 19 years, the Past President of NAWBO Kentucky, and a mother of three successful daughters, Denise Jerome understands the challenges associated with innovation and inspiration in companies of all sizes. Her comprehensive approach to elevating both the person and the company stems from years of experience with her own company’s challenges and her previous employment in corporate America, where she advanced in her field, even as a minority among her peers.

A Philosophy for the Future

Denise believes that our environment, beliefs, encouragement, and continual development of a person’s story can foster an atmosphere that will stimulate innovation. Innovation challenges status quo and increases the likelihood of future success and endurance in any company. The trick is to invest in your team’s individual stories, discover what motivates them, and then weave that motivation into your company’s story to create inspiration and grow success.

Imagination @work

The reinvention of Denise’s founding company, Michalis Events, is a testimony to her ingenuity, determination, imagination, and foresight to build and grow innovation in the face of adversity. She enjoys lifting all team members, learning what truly motivates them, and blending that motivation into a common goal that benefits both the person and the company!

About Robbie

Building Credibility

image6

As a co-founder of four companies, a corporate leader, former college professor, and the father of three successful daughters, Robert (Robbie) Jerome understands the trials associated with building a company from scratch and dealing with corporate America. He has a long history of turning operations around in multiple industries, both non-union and union, domestic and international locations. His "no-nonsense" approach and "real-world, real-experiences" thought process allows him to work with companies to discover root causes and implement new systems to generate real results.  He believes in building positive work environments to develop the achievers and coach up or coach out employees that do not bring the optimal value to the business.

A Philosophy for the Future

Robbie believes that behind every successful company is an efficient and effective operations model, happy, productive & valued employees, minimal waste, and a system where employees are held accountable and rewarded for outstanding performance. With his effective tools, such as The Power of Three, Net Value of Employee Principle, W-W-W model, Lean, Six Sigma and 5S, he can help any company and its employees implement effective and simple tools to turn around and/or improve any business. His personal and real world training applications have earned him rewards at the university and corporate level.

Finding a better light for the future

image8

Working in various business entities such as the Federal Government, Distribution & Logistics, Healthcare, Food Processing and Inspection, Retail Lighting, and Manufacturing, along with starting four successful companies from ground-up, Robbie has been able to perfect his business methods. Resolving issues by finding the root cause, determining the overall impact of the issue, while putting into place effective control systems, can help any company, and its employees, find the light for a better future. It all starts when you draw a "Line In The Sand" to make positive change happen.

It all starts with your story

Inspiration occurs as a result of each person's personal story. Stories define who we are and what we want to achieve in life. Stories inspire us.  How can we, as employers, foster that inspiration to create innovation? Because without innovation, companies can't grow. This presentation will teach you to think outside-the-lines to encourage innovation inside your company.

The Real Connection

As entrepreneurs, we have high hopes for our companies. We connect with our teams, clients, and vendors.... but sometimes we forget to make the real connection- our spouses and children. This presentation is key for ALL business leaders. If we forget the family, we forget our original story. How do we make the real connection and bring it full circle?

Robbie & Denise share their family's journey, its trials, tribulations, and most importantly, how the family grew stronger even in times of adversity.

The details

We all know what we want the end goal to be with regard to financials, efficiencies, and sales. What we don't always know is why we can't achieve the goal! What if you could discover the root cause and build your process from there?

Robbie's ability to teach core and simple mechanisms to a diverse audience is both insightful and inspiring-- and even often times hilarious!
